Space Shuttle

This past weekend we took the boys to the Udvar-Hazy Center - part of the National Air and Space Museum that is out near Dulles and setup to display many large aircraft as it is an indoor hangar.  Ryan and I have been many times (they also show movies at the huge IMAX screen there) but had not taken the boys yet, so we decided it was a good time to introduce them and let them run around and see the "airplanes" (really more like spacecraft, rockets, and satellites - but that's a little over their heads right now).  They had a blast pointing to everything and saying vrrrm vrrrm vrrrm.  The museum is huge and there is plenty of space to let them "loose" without getting into too much trouble.  It was especially nice on the second level where there is a long, wide hall overlooking the Space Shuttle Discovery, the current centerpiece of Udvar-Hazy.  The boys ran around, had some snacks, and got very tired out by the time we left.  Even baby Spencer had a great time seeing all the planes overhead from his stroller!
