We had an action packed weekend in Baltimore last Friday-Sunday. With all the organizing, packing, unpacking, and everything in between it's been hard to find time to post pictures! Here are some from our first stop at the National Aquarium - this place was beyond amazing!! We've been to the branch of the National Aquarium in DC, but it doesn't hold a candle to the one in Baltimore! We were in time for a great dolphin show right when we walked in, then toured the rest of the aquarium. On Fridays they stay open late, with the last admission at 8pm, and allow people to stay inside for an hour and a half after that. We stayed later than the boys normal bedtime, but it was worth it to have the huge aquarium practically to ourselves. We were able to go quickly from exhibit to exhibit and could easily see everything without having to wait in lines or look around other people! The boys especially liked the turtles and jelly fish in the glowing blue light. The coolest exhibit was the Shark Alley, a ring-shaped row of tanks lining a walkway where the boys could get up close and see nose to nose with the sharks swimming back and forth...probably wishing they could break through the glass and get those two little appetizers!
