Massanutten Water Park!

The main reason we ventured out on this most recent trip...to visit an indoor water park!  The boys had so much fun this summer swimming and trying out all sorts of water slides, we thought we'd bring a little summer back to these cooler months with a visit to an indoor water park that came highly recommended by friends.  On our way down, we made a pit stop at Chic-fil-A and Oliver was excited to hug the big cow dancing around at dinner time.  We stayed in a condo at Massunutten and the boys had their own room with a pull out bed and fireplace!  Since it didn't run very hot, we were able to leave it on all night and they thought it was so fun having a sleepover next to a fireplace!  The water park was huge and had exciting things to do for all ages.  Ryan and I took turns watching the boys and getting a few runs in on the water slides for big people.  The boys completely exhausted themselves running loops up and down the climbing structure and the slides.  We stopped for a lunch break and Oliver couldn't help but take a little nap in his chair.  They continued full steam ahead into the evening, with breaks on the lazy river and dips in the hot tub to warm up.  And as if that wasn't enough fun in the water, the first thing the boys wanted to do when we arrived back at the condo...take a bath in the Jacuzzi tub!
