You're My Lunch Date

Last Wednesday I was going to take Spencie ice skating again, but it was just a little too cold and windy.  Since we were already at the Reston Town Center, we spent the morning there and decided to check out the art gallery.  They had a little visual "scavenger hunt" for kids and a craft area where you pay $5 for a craft bucket and use of their huge wall of art supplies.  We were the only ones there and spent a long time gluing and painting until we got hungry.  For lunch we walked over to a place called Ted's.  Spencie discovered that I was drinking hot chocolate (which he loves) and so we shared my big cup.  He was so cute - first drinking out of a straw, and then insisting on holding the big mug himself.  I would say, "Spencie, you're my lunch date" and he'd laugh, squeal and say, "No, you're my lunch date!!"  It's so nice to have special time with him on Wednesdays!
