The Itsy Bitsy Spider
If you saw the boys preschool Halloween performance, you might recall that the Itsy Bitsy Spider was one of the songs they've been working on at school. Throughout the day at home they'll start singing it together and it's really cute, especially when Spencer tries to join in and sing too! Yesterday we came back to the house after trick-or-treating in the village for a quick bite of cheerios and fruit before heading back out into the neighborhood. One of the boys got their hands on some plastic spiders we received in goodie bags at the Halloween Jamboree the day before and starting singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider. You can tell Spencie is trying to sing "spider" and follow along with the tune. I love how Owen drops a blueberry on the floor and give me such a sweet apology! I've been trying to teach them to say "sorry" when they spill milk on the floor or have some other type of accident...but haven't requested apologies for dropping something like a blueberry on the floor that they'll probably pick up and eat anyway! Trick-or-treating pictures to follow soon!!
