Don't Sweat It!

It's been a HOT summer!!  When not in the pool, we've been limiting our time playing on the deck because of the heat.  The boys are oblivious to it and still run to the doors saying "outside, outside" all day long, so we give them a couple short stints outdoors under the fan.  Owen is especially sensitive to the heat - he'll work up a sweat pushing the lawn mower around for just a few minutes!  Maybe the effects of the heat are more obvious on him than Oliver because we can start to see the sweat coming out in his long hair!

Another sweaty affair - baby wearing!!  Doesn't matter which front soft carrier you wear (I have 5 and all of them are HOT)...having a warm baby so close in the heat = sweat!  And I'm not normally one too sweat...I'm always cold and love being in the warm weather.  Here was a hot afternoon at Frying Pan Farm...it was so warm that Spencer fell right asleep as we walked around.  Right before we left I took him out to "air out" in the back of the trunk.  He looked like he didn't know what was going on, haha, but was much happier back in his car seat for the air conditioned car ride home!
