Most people already know that when it comes to food, Ryan and I won't go near any fish...but we want to be sure the boys have a shot at developing a taste for seafood, and aren't denied this great source of DHA and Omega 3s! So today at Costco I bought a large bag of flounder. I've read that both flounder and cod are very plain and a good choice for a first fish introduction. Owen took one bite (he thought it was chicken) and then proceeded to spit it back out and do his usual examination of the food while making faces. But Oliver loved it! Of course, both boys are obsessed with using forks to eat these days. Once they have a fork in their possession, it's hard to take it away, even to help them reload it with a new bite - they want to do it all themselves!
