BIG water slide

I have so many pictures to catch up on from vacation...so I'll start with one of the hotel highlights - the BIG water slide.  There was one of those really tall ones you have to climb a few stories up to ride, normally restricted to 42" and taller.  But the hotel lifeguards didn't enforce this rule and let the boys go down!  Spencer was the first to try (without a second thought) and we could barely pull him away from it all week.  Somehow he managed to get himself twisted around and came down upside down and head first the first few runs, but that didn't bother him!  It took Oliver a couple of hours to scope out the situation, walk up and back down the stairs a few times, and finally give in with the promise of a Rice Krispie treat.  But as we suspected, he was hooked after one time down.  It was exhausting just watching Spencer and Oliver run up the steps, down the slide, and then sprint back over and do it all again, over and over...straight through nap time and into the evening, stopping only for food when we reminded them to eat!  Owen did go down once, on the last day of the trip, but not 100% willingly.  He thought he was going to be riding down on Ryan's lap (which wasn't allowed) and then got a little push down at the last minute.  He wasn't thrilled about it then, but claims that he liked the big green slide now that we're back home.
