New Family Photos!

We had some new family photos taken a few weeks ago!  The original idea was to have them done at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens at sunset, but the night before we saw a high probability of showers in the weather forecast.  We decided with our photographer, Nancy, that it was safest to reschedule for the morning before the rain hit.  We started a little after 11:00am, which quickly became high noon with 90 degree heat and not a cloud in the sky to tame the bright sun.  It was a tough shoot - the boys were hot (we all were) and not in the easiest moods for smiles on demand.  But Nancy did a wonderful job capturing some nice shots despite the cranky kids and sweltering heat.  Here are some of my favorites!  Now to decide which one for a new blog cover!?
