Helper Tiger

The twins love the PBS show "Daniel Tiger" that I allow them watch for about 15-20 min in the morning while I put Spencer down for a short nap and clean the kitchen up after breakfast.  It's actually a pretty good show and has helped them with things like going to the doctor - there was an episode where Daniel Tiger visits the doctor and gets a shot.  Owen really liked the episode where Daniel was a "Helper Tiger" and helped his mom and dad out around the house.  He now calls himself Owen Helper Tiger and does things like help strap Spencie into his chair for meals!  It's funny how obsessed with straps, buttons, knobs, etc. Owen is all the time.  Anything that needs opened, closed, turned, pushed or that he gets into or out of - he absolutely insists on doing himself!  He's also now able to get himself a drink of water from the dispenser in the refrigerator...which has been both convenient and slippery.
