Laying in Wood Chips

Yesterday I took the boys to try out the playground at the church a couple miles down the road.  This turned out to be a great spot for watching all 3 of them by myself because it is small and completely fenced in, yet had nice playground equipment.  The boys loved the play firetruck and spent most of their time in that toy!  I've noticed over the past couple of weeks that the twins have really gotten into playing together, like on a whole new level.  They are constantly getting into fits of silliness, where they come up with a phrase or action that they'll do over and over to make each other laugh.  Spencer picks up on these moments and will either sit back and watch with a big smile on his face, or try to join in on the fun.  It is amazing how with each day I see them truly having fun and learning together, and I am thankful that they are able to spend their days playing and bonding with one another...and that I am able to be part of every moment!!  A cute thing happened before we left the playground - Owen was running, tripped and fell flat out on his stomach.  I jumped and ran over, but tried to keep my expression calm so that he wouldn't overreact.  When he saw my positive reaction and realized he was ok, he started saying "Owen fell down!" and was laughing pretty hard.  Oliver ran over and threw himself down just like Owen had done on accident, as if to make a game of it.  A few seconds later they were both throwing themselves all over the ground, laughing together.  And as much as I would rather they weren't rolling all over the wood chips, it was really cute that they were having such a good time over the situation!
