Fort and Swings

The boys have really put some good, quality time into playing on their fort and swings this summer!  I'm amazed at how quickly all 3 have taken to the "regular" swings now that we have those up; I thought they wouldn't like not having the secure back of a baby swing and having to hold on to the chains, but the idea of being able to get on and off on their own like a "big boy" trumps all else.  This morning, Oliver was a sweet big brother and pushed Spencie on the tire swing.  It was such a nice day out that we played into lunch time and I had to do some creative negotiating to convince them to come back into the house (even the prospect of food and a juice box wasn't working)!  Before heading in Spencie wanted to show off his daring new approach to sliding, which was really just walking upright down the thing.  That boy has no fear and loves putting a daring twist on almost everything he does!
