Nationals Night Game!

Last night we took the boys to their 2nd Nats game (see the post from their first pro baseball experience here: http://thewestsblog.blogspot.com/2012/06/nationals-game.html).  It's funny how much they've changed in the pictures...Spencer was just a tiny baby in a baby carrier last year!  

The twins were very excited about this all morning, especially after watching an episode of Daniel Tiger where Daniel and friends were playing baseball.  This time we went to a night game, which was really fun with the bright lights and big crowd.  After the boys' nap we quickly got ready and headed downtown to meet Daddy at the stadium.  After the car ride there, they needed some energy burning time before finding our seats (which were really great thanks to our friends Amy and Bryan!).  The new stadium has this awesome kids playground just inside the gates.  The boys did really well watching the game, or rather taking in the atmosphere, until the bottom of the 9th!  They were equally as taken in by the greasy ballpark food...Spencer was plenty happy gnawing on a chicken finger and slurping his milk while watching the game.
