West Boys on Water Slide

Last Thursday Ryan took the day off and we brought the boys to our favorite indoor pool at the Claude Moore Rec Center.  We love the large kiddie pool because it's big and has a double water slide, and since we hadn't been there since before summer, the improvement in the boys' swimming skills was really noticeable!  They were boldly swimming and wading around the pool, climbing and sliding.  Spencer loved sliding so much that he looked like he was on auto-pilot, continuously making the loop up the steps, down the slide, and back up again, not the least bit phased as bigger kids brushed past him.  The trip got me excited to try coming back during the deserted weekday mornings this fall on my own with the boys.  Earlier this spring I would have said there was no way to make an outing like this with the 3 of them on my own, but now I'm pretty sure I can handle it and have lots of fun!
