Tots Selling Pops!
When we went to the beach earlier this month, our friend Krystal thought up a plan to let the kids sell popsicles so they could learn about earning money for a trip to the dollar store. Taking a trip to the nearest dollar store has become a must-do when we go on our weekend hotel adventures - the 5 kids love browsing (more like sprinting up and down) the aisles to find a special new toy or trinket for the weekend! It turned out that we couldn't fit popsicle selling in during our beach weekend with all the excitement of the sand and ocean, so we met up yesterday at Clemyjontri to give it a go. Krystal made adorable matching t-shirts that said "Tots Selling Pops" and they were all so cute running around (with bells on) asking other kids and their parents if they wanted to buy a popsicle for 25 cents. Oliver was probably the most fearless salesman of my group, literally chasing kids down with a popsicle in hand. Everyone except Owen enjoyed testing out the products beforehand, during lunch break, and as we were leaving to go home! We also managed to fit in a carousel and train ride too. And in case you were wondering what 5 kids on a tire swing looks like...here's the excited sales crew having a little pep rally before venturing out to sell!
