Children's Museum of Richmond

One more post from a sight seeing day during our Richmond trip.  The boys had a blast at the children's museum, where there were lots of hands-on activities that they've never done before.  Of course they made a beeline for the ambulance as we first walked in, and spent a good amount of time climbing on and exploring the inside of it.  It's hard to tell, but there are a couple of pictures of a dinosaur shaped slide all 3 had fun going up and down.  And my favorite exhibit was the apple tree, where the boys could "pick" apples, fill their baskets, and then dump them into a return that refilled the tree.  We all went on a carousel ride (Owen rode a cat, Oliver a deer, and Spencer a bear) and the boys did great at holding on tight and then recounting the experience and the different carousel animals they went on afterward.  The last exhibit we visited, the "Pit Stop", was another of the boys' favorites, displaying a real NASCAR race car they could sit behind the wheel of and pretend to fill with gas!
