Rainy Day Out

Yesterday was rainy and so I took the boys on a spur of the moment outing to JW Tumbles for open gym time.  They really got into some of the gymnastic equipment - the twins liked swinging from the miniature gymnast bar that was setup.  There's a Harris Teeter 2 floors below the gym and since we were completely out of bananas and strawberries, I decided to make a quick detour on our way out and push the boys through in their stroller while I picked a few things up.  I didn't take any pictures because I was going as quickly as possible, hoping no one would throw a fit wanting to get out and touch everything...but they behaved perfectly and actually seemed to enjoy the little tour around the store (I think being exhausted by that point helped too)!  So we got to play and shop all in one stop and the boys were ready for a nice, full 2 hour nap after lunch when we came home.  We may start playing at JW Tumbles more often just so I can fit that quick grocery stop into my week more often!
