Cherry Blossom Picnic

Thursday was a gorgeous day and peak Cherry Blossom time in DC.  We headed downtown and had a nice picnic lunch under some Cherry Blossom trees on the Potomac with Grandbobby and Dee.  The boys had fun running in and out of the trees while I tried to capture a few pictures.  We took a long walk down to the Tidal Basin and enjoyed the view of all the blossoms across the way surrounding the Washington Monument.  Oliver kept his favorite tiger, Striper, by his side the entire trip.  And for little boys who love helicopters, they were in for a special treat as it seemed one flew overhead every few minutes, many brightly colored and quite low to the ground.
