Sandbox is Open

On Thursday we had friends over to play and enjoy the beautiful weather with us outside.  I've managed to keep the boys out of the sandbox since last fall (it really needs a lock!), in an effort to avoid having all the extra winter layers, coats, socks, and sneakers filled with sand...it's much easier to brush sand off shorts, t-shirts, and sandals!  But on this day we had 5 very eager kids wanting to play in the sand, so we let them at it and since then the boys have not forgotten that the sandbox is officially open for the spring/summer!
