No Joke Potty Time

Spencer's April Fools' Day joke was to potty train himself in a day.  No joke - he made as much progress in one day as it took the twins several months to do (not to mention they were not nearly as young!)  I thought it was a hoax myself when my dad called while I was out after dropping Owen and Oliver off at preschool to tell me that Spencie did his first poo poo ever in the potty!  The day before, he did his first pee pee (several times in the same day), and continues to go when we tell him it's time to go when the big boys are going as well.  And we by passed the little potty all together and went straight to the seat on the big potty.  I expected him to be early, but this is amazing!  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we might be rid of diapers sooner than I had hoped.  Even the number of pull ups are dwindling...this was Oliver's first week to wear real underwear to preschool and he did great - used the potty there and no accidents!  Big accomplishments in the world of potty training over here!!  So here's a funny video from after today's nap.  Oliver had just used the potty and wanted to see Spencie go (he couldn't believe it without seeing for himself either).  Spencie climbed up, got comfortable and then...let out some gas.  His laughter was so genuine, I guess this type of bathroom humor is genetic in boys :)
