Cool Whip Colors

Last Saturday afternoon we went out for a snack in the fort before nap time.  It started to rain, so the 5 of us stayed under cover and enjoyed our veggie straws (the boys favorite snack!).  After naps, we  went out on the deck to do a fun little activity I've been wanting to try out - painting with cool whip!  A few drops of food color, graham crackers for paintbrushes, and we had a delicious art session set out in a cupcake sheet.  I probably should have held back the secret that the "paint" was edible for a few minutes; Oliver spent more time eating than painting.  Owen was more focused on how he could get more plain crackers and wanted nothing to do with tasting the colorful whip, while Spencer did a little bit of everything.
