Never Enough Trucks
Another big truck day last weekend...and this one had a couple the boys haven't seen up close before, like an army truck. They got to try on real army helmets (which were so heavy they could barely keep their heads up), climb up a ladder to get into the back, and even pet the army dog! There were the usual fire trucks, excavators, and buses that they can never get enough time on pretending to drive. And a mail truck too with a special mail bear on board they took turns holding. There was also a big robot that Daddy liked and tried to teach the boys how it worked. He told them it was smart enough to come and pick them up out of their cribs if they wanted. Later that afternoon when I went in to wake Oliver up from his nap, the first thing he said to me in his sleepy, innocent voice was that I didn't need to get him up out of the crib anymore because the robot could do it!
