More Udvar

We just can't get enough Udvar Hazy these days, especially surrounding our recent airplane ride to Texas!  The boys ask for "Space Shuttle" by name, so today we went on one of our favorite afternoon outings.  As the twins approach 2 years old, we've been able to "let them loose" much more in public places and not have to worry about them immediately running out of control and in opposite directions (a common theme from 15-20 months).  They have been really well behaved at this museum the last couple times we've visited, stopping to look at the space shuttle and different airplanes.  Today there was a special exhibit - a big, red space shuttle simulator - so we all went for a ride.  Oliver was the most nervous as the simulator started shaking and bouncing during takeoff, while Spencer wasn't the least bit concerned.  On the way home, we stopped for an impromptu dinner at a "restaurant" with the boys...Chick-fil-A!  Spencer ate more chicken and fruit than Owen and Oliver (who were more concerned with when we were going to let them see the indoor slide).  A fun Saturday!
