Pumpkins and Corn!

Yes, more pumpkins :)  This time we did the quick and easy stop over to Krops Crops - a seasonal, 20-acre farm just at the end of our street.  They have a fall hayride that takes you to a hidden pumpkin patch at the far end of the farm, and a big corn trough for little kids to jump and play in (I'm still finding corn kernals in my washer and drier)!  We had some extra excitement when we all loaded up on the hayride and the driver discovered a flat tire.  The boys had a front row seat to watch him try and repair it.  He eventually decided to just put more air in and hope the leak was a slow one.  When we got to the hidden pumpkin patch, we were dropped off to explore while the farmer left to try another fix for the tire.  So we had some extra time to play and take pictures.  Owen and Oliver thought it was really cool to find a few pumpkins that apparently some deer had found first, and eaten big holes out of them!  When it was time to go we loaded back up on the tractor and started driving back, but discovered halfway that the repair had not worked, and ended with a little hike to our starting point!

Sitting in corn is so much fun!!
