Rainy Day Bowling

Owen and Oliver had preschool this morning and when I went to pick them up it was raining, with a slight chill in the air that called for Elmo soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch!  The cool, rainy weather was perfect for all of us to take a nice long nap (yes, even I got at least an hour in today)!  We spent the rest of the afternoon bowling with a cute little animal pin set that the boys have ignored for a long time.  Probably because we've spent most of our time outside since spring...so Oliver had a renewed interest in these creatures.  This time he understood the concept of setting the pins up and standing behind a line to roll the ball.  We put the pins in a triangle formation to start, but he insisted on lining them all up in a row, I think so he could see their faces.  Maybe we can try real bumper bowling sometime soon!!
