Choo Choo Jammies

Nana sent the twins some really cute Thomas the Train pajamas.  Owen has been really picky about what he wears to bed lately - like totally freaking out about wearing something other than his top 2 favorite pj's (which are too small).  So I've been trying to draw his attention to other things, possibly some small and unrelated detail, when getting him dressed for bed to avoid him noticing what's going on as I quickly pull on a new shirt or pants.  Most of the time I haven't been successful because he's too observant and retaliates by screaming and crying for his old pj's the minute he realizes they're different.  But this time I managed to make such a big fuss about him working on the zipper all by himself, that he didn't even notice the choo choo jammies were new...and then when he did, I immediately made an even bigger deal about how nice the trains were and asked him the names of the trains (all his favorites of course).  I held my breath as he took a minute to examine them...and success!!  He LOVED them and went crazy dancing around with Oliver and Spencer in their new clothes.  I honestly didn't think he'd be able to get past the footed bottom because he's so particular with how his socks go on before bed.  Spencer got a new pair too - with a bull dog face on the bottom.  He was so funny trying to see the dog face once they were on, acting like a cat chasing it's tail in circles.  An added bonus was all the hugs and kisses we got on the second video!
