Chasing Turkeys

Sunday afternoon we met up with friends at Clemyjontri playground.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous, so we decided to skip naps and take a little hike at a nearby colonial farm we've never visited before.  Our friends highly suggested it for the wild turkeys, and rightfully so!  The kids had a blast making gobble gobble noises and chasing the friendly turkeys around the farm.  There were a lot of other wild birds to run around with as well.  We'll have to return before Thanksgiving and let the boys catch a turkey dinner!  They also had fun pretending to run a pumpkin stand, "selling" pumpkins to each other.  Owen of course took this very seriously and put himself in charge of directing all pumpkin related activities.  The kids also kept one of the colonial maids busy, following her around and asking questions.  I mostly took advantage of the glowing afternoon light to work on my photography skills in this picturesque setting!
