Ever since seeing the Blue Angels, the boys have been obsessed with everything involving planes (and space shuttles). So when we heard about the Leesburg Airshow last weekend we knew they would enjoy it. The aerobatics performance (or tricks as Owen calls them) started right when we arrived. The boys liked the planes zipping up and down, making cool patterns and shapes with their contrails. Afterward, they had turns pretending to be pilots in a large rescue helicopter. And what event isn't complete without bouncy houses these days?! After all the jumping, on what felt like a hot summer day, ice cream cones were in order to cool down. We sat under the shade of a plane's wing to relax...and there's even proof that Owen ate some ice cream (and liked it)!
