Pumpkinville

Last Friday we visited the Leesburg Animal Park to check out their fall transformation into "Pumpkinville".  Since it was Friday, it wasn't crowded at all and there was still more than we could do in the 5 hours spent there!  From huge industrial pipe slides, bouncy houses, hay stacks, tractor rides, tepees, spider webs, and straw mazes - to giant sandboxes, pedal race cars, and Lemur Island!  The boys especially liked the tractor ride because it featured hidden dinosaurs along the trees and bushes as we passed.  And they were some of the best (and smallest) drivers out on the pedal race track, given all their experience with driving their tractors and police car back home.  We each got to take one small pumpkin home with us and the boys love playing with and taking care of the pumpkins around the house.  Owen's even slept with his for the past week.  I love this time of year in Northern Virginia - so many awesome pumpkin patches and fall festivals like this all over town, it's hard to decide what to do!  More to come...and don't get tired of these overall yet, I'll be dressing them up like little farmers for the rest of the season!
