Any Old Goose

The boys have been asking for a tractor ride lately - a request I can easily fulfill at the Reston zoo!  While we waited for the 1:00pm tractor ride, the boys shared their bunny snacks with a friendly goose that wandered over to our table.  Given that all 3 of the boys are very territorial over their bunny snacks, rarely willing to share with each other or anyone else for that matter, I was surprised at how freely they were throwing pieces to the well-fed looking goose!  They were so fascinated by the way he was waddling around, quickly snatching the snacks up as they hit the ground, that they didn't mind sacrificing a few.  Before leaving we fed the sheep and goats, and this was the first time I let Spencie help feed too.  His reaction to the animals licking food from his hand was funny - he seemed surprised and confused about the whole thing and sort of backed away with a disgusted look on his face.
