Gone Fishin'

We put a new twist on the water table this morning by adding some fun, new toys - these cute little sea creatures with magnets on their mouths and magnetic fishing poles to reel them in.  It's funny how boys always find an alternate use for which a toy was not designed... Spencer figured out how to "catch" the fish using the pole, but then used it to transport them over to the woods and toss them in the leaves.  Oliver used the pole like a utensil to get the fish into his mouth, and Owen eventually took off down the driveway dragging his fishing pole behind him on the ground.  Their creativity kept us occupied outside in the nice weather for the better part of the morning!
