Spencer's 18 Months!

Spencer is 18 months old!  We went to the Reston zoo in the morning to feed the "amals" as he says, and boy did he have fun feeding them!  I think the last time we visited the zoo was his first time out of the stroller in the barn with the feed bucket (prior to that he was too little and/or would just bolt in the opposite direction).  But today he did amazingly well feeding the goats and sheep!  It was so cute as he carefully took handfuls of feed and watched the animals gulp it down.  Oliver took to sharing his bucket with some nosy ducks that wandered in the barn.  All three boys doled out their buckets very well, and so I went back to get them refills!  Now that school is back in session, the zoo was practically deserted and we were able to really take our time with everything as we were the only ones there.  We waited for the 12:00 tractor ride - the boys pet the cows and got licked by the camels - then we had lunch at a picnic table before heading back home for nice 2+ hour naps.  Even Mommy sneaked a little one in this time :)
