Vacation Food and Water

During vacation it's always hard to feed the boys as healthy as at home, but we manage a little by bringing organic snacks, fruits, bread, and our favorite Trader Joe's organic, unsalted peanut butter.  And then we negate all that by letting the boys splurge on room service eggs and waffles in bed for breakfast, pizza for dinner, and some sips of our refillable ICEE drink we carried around the park (this was a big hit with Spencer)!  The "water" part of this post isn't about drinking water, but rather the afternoon shower we got caught in on our second day at Dutch Wonderland.  Ironically, we had just finished playing in the water park for the morning and were drying off for lunch when a shower passed through.  I wish I had some pictures from the water park (we put our phones and things in a locker) because it was really cool.  Spencer was having a ball on the water slides, and even went on the really big, adult raft slide with us a couple times (one of those you ride a large inflatable tube down through a tunnel).  We could have spent a whole day just in the water park.  So the rain came right when we got changed and dry, and we hung out and had sandwiches on the top of an umbrella table.  Instead of trying to fight being a bit wet, we continued on to a few more semi-wet rides involving boats, including a double log flume with all 5 of us in one log!  That was a lot of fun!!  Oliver and Daddy eventually dried off on the Sky Ride while I headed back to the (wet) panda bears with Owen and Spencie for the 100th time :)
